I can’t even remember the first time I met Katelyn. Probably because she has one of those personalities that makes you feel like you’ve known her forever. I’m sure, though, it was either between dance classes or sideline cheers, as she and I danced and cheered our way through our glory days in little old Lynchburg. Since then, we’ve both moved away from our hometown in Virginia. Katelyn in Massachusetts, me in South Carolina. However, we both found our way back home to celebrate the love that these two share!
As much as Lynchburg is home to Katelyn, she always had a heart to experience things outside of this small town. On her summer breaks in college, she would head up north to New England and live with her aunt. She would spend her days in Massachusetts working, particularly at an inn, and experiencing all the Bay State had to offer. It was at this inn that she met Doug. She had to give him a tour of the inn and the premises. Doug asked Katelyn to coffee, she agreed, and the rest is history.
Katelyn and Doug, I LOVED being able to capture this special time for you two. Your love is so fresh and fun. I love how much laughter we shared together and am glad the distance hasn’t taken that from us, Katelyn! From taking way too long changing clothes because you couldn’t leave Point of Honor without buying bowls to compensate for using their restroom (LOL) to exchanging food recommendations in New England, I had so much fun with you two. I CANNOT WAIT for your Mount Ida Farm wedding next October!
