Oh my goodness, y’all! Lauren and Lee’s beautiful downtown wedding in Roanoke, Virginia completely stole my heart this past weekend! With bridesmaids and groomsmen dressed in all black, stunning florals, perfect details (like blue Kate Spade shoes!!), and gold glitter table runners, this day was an absolute dream! The cold and rain couldn’t stop these two from the most stunning day full of love, laughter, and so much joy!
From the moment I met Lauren and Lee, I knew that these two were special. I photographed their engagement session at the beginning of this year and we got to know each other as we rode through downtown Roanoke in Lee’s jeep, listening to hip hop music and sharing restaurant recommendations (always the best!). We had so much fun that day and I left feeling so excited for their wedding later that year!
Lauren and Lee met online and spent their first date at Blue 5 Restaurant. They talked for hours their first night and spent time getting to know each other. They developed a deep connection as friends towards the beginning, but through nights in together watching movies or a fun night out bowling, it eventually turned into something more. Lauren and Lee dated for two and a half years before Lee proposed at their first home they bought together in Roanoke. That night, Lee took Lauren to their favorite dinner spot, Luigi’s. As soon as they arrived back home, Lauren walked outside on their back porch to see the area decorated with candles and beautiful tulle draped over their railings. She saw her parents and Lee’s parents and felt so confused, but when she turned around to see Lee down on one knee, she quickly caught on 😉 That night, she said yes to being Mrs. Crawford and a lifetime of happiness with the man she loves most!
Lauren and Lee, your wedding day was such a perfect depiction of you both as a couple! You two are some of the most genuine people I’ve ever met and capturing your day was such a joy! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of the best day of your lives!
