This season of life has been so different than what many of us thought 2020 would hold. Amid a global pandemic and wedding postponements, there has still been so much beauty in this season of business. Probably my favorite thing about this year has been the gear shift to days filled celebrating motherhood with maternity, family, and newborn sessions.

Motherhood is one of the most beautiful (and, let’s be real, completely insane) seasons of life. I love documenting it. It’s raw, it’s real, and it exposes every single emotional part of you as a woman. In my opinion, it’s love in its most vulnerable state. These lifestyle newborn sessions are my favorite because it shows the little moments of life lived inside the four walls your home. The things that are so ordinary to you every single day… I’m able to capture those moments in a way that reminds you of just how extraordinary they really are.

I found this sweet lady on Instagram about a year ago when I asked her to model for me for an editorial shoot (because, hello, is she not so gorgeous?!). We became fast friends and I got to watch her family add one more baby boy to the mix! I had so much fun with this sweet family and feel so lucky to have been able to capture this sweet time for them!
