Brittany and Louis are MADE for each other! When they reached out about their engagement, I was just captivated by them and their love for each other. We began discussing their wedding plans and what they wanted to do for their engagement photos. Since they’ll be getting married out of state, they wanted to do something for their engagement session that would celebrate where they live, here in Charlotte. So, we decided on a gorgeous Duke Mansion engagement session!
Duke Mansion Engagement Session
I absolutely love the Duke Mansion. It’s always gorgeous – no matter the time of year! It’s one of my favorite places to go for an engagement session and I was so happy when Brittany and Louis agreed! When they arrived, I was so excited to see them. It’s like meeting new friends… but ones you’ve known forever when clients arrive. Anyone else know what I mean?! Right of the bat, I could feel the love and happiness coming from them and I couldn’t wait to get started!
Brittany actually works for Lily Pulitzer so she had the most beautiful dress for our session. The light blue popped perfectly against the elegant backdrop of the Duke Mansion. I LOVED it. And her ring was just gorgeous, too!!! She and Louis had the most fun while we walked around the grounds. THere’s something so romantic about the Duke Mansion and I’m thrilled I was able to send the afternoon exploring with two people as in love as Brittany and Louis!
