Sara and Declan’s Midtown Park engagement session was the MOST fun. I’m seriously so honored they asked me to be a part of this special time in their lives. When Sara reached out to me initially about wedding photography, we set up a meeting over Zoom to chat. I absolutely fell in love with them both right away. Declan is from the UK, so my alter ego “Bridget” from Essex kicked in pretty soon after I met him, but we had fun with it. And it definitely made them laugh during their engagement portraits.

Midtown Park Engagement Session

One of the things I love most about Sara and Declan is that they have GREAT style. When we were planning, Sara sent me a photo of the gorgeous dress she chose from Untamed Petals and I DIED. It’s SO pretty – and it was even better in person. Just wait until you see it!!! We had decided on Midtown Park for their portraits because it gave us a good mix of greenery and still an urban feel. It’s one of my all time favorite places to shoot in Charlotte, NC. With the outfits they chose, it was seriously beautiful.

Sara and Declan’s session was so full of laughs because they just complement each other so well. I’m thankful I was the one chosen to document this special time. I wish you two the best in this season of life, Sara and Declan! Seriously, I’m so happy for you!!
