I absolutely love when I get to work with my professional friends in a personal way. Katrina is one of my favorite wedding planners here in Charlotte, NC. She and Hutch had been planning a vow renewal for their 10 year anniversary, but COVID had other plans. Being an amazing planner, she quickly regrouped and threw together an intimate vow renewal in Charleston, SC for her and her husband. During planning, she reached out to me about a Charleston photographer, asking if I knew anyone at all that might be able to do it for them. I said, “ummmm, duh, me!” and we began planning. I LOVE traveling to Charleston still for sessions!

We dove into the rest of planning together and I helped by sending her a few location suggestions for their ceremony. On our way to the spot we picked, we ended up stumbling on this beautiful little spot on Church Street and knew it was perfect! This home had jasmine in full bloom – it was absolutely perfect! And the home owner came out and celebrated with us, too. He was thrilled they were renewing their vows outside his door. It was seriously so sweet!!! Afterwards, we walked the streets of Charleston together finding the perfect little pops of spring to photograph Katrina and Hutch. You can tell they’re still SO in love, even 10 years later. I’m so happy for you both!!!
