VanLandingham Estate Wedding || Carson + Bryce

Congratulations to Carson and Bryce! Their wedding day was seriously the perfect day. They had the perfect weather, the best vendors, and the nicest people celebrating with them. It was honestly a dream to capture their VanLandingham Estate wedding day. From the start, I knew their wedding was going to be a blast but they truly exceeded all my expectations. Carson and Bryce are my kind of people and I can’t wait for you to see their romantic celebration!

Their Love Story

Carson and Bryce knew of each other their freshman year at UNC Chapel Hill because of mutual friends, but didn’t officially meet until Anthro 101 that year. Bryce tweeted about a girl next to him looking like Velma from Scooby Doo (which was Carson) and she replied back. He played it a bit too cool and didn’t answer, but they connected again at a party they attended, where Bryce got her number for “homework questions”. Before long, they were hanging out in and out of classes and when Bryce’s fraternity formal came up in 2012, they made things official. Now, they’ve been together for more than 9 years. After moving to Charlotte, Bryce proposed in May of 2019.

Like so many couples, they had a 2020 wedding date in the spring. Carson and Bryce knew that they wanted to still be married on their original date, so they held an intimate ceremony at a family members house! As a surprise, their family and friends hired a bagpipe player (because they LOVE bagpipes!) to perform in their front yard (plus a car parade from their family and friends who couldn’t attend). It was super sweet and a beautiful way to celebrate in a hard time.

VanLandingham Estate Wedding

Once they were able to host a bigger celebration, Carson and Bryce began to plan their VanLandingham Estate wedding. They couldn’t wait to celebrate their marriage with everyone they loved and have the party they wanted! And they absolutely did!! From a bagpiper playing before and during their ceremony plus the cocktail hour, and a live high-energy band for the reception, Carson and Bryce brought the party! They even wrapped up the night with Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now” playing. It was a rager and SO much fun. And through it all, you could just SEE the love between Carson and Bryce. Despite it all, they have each other and a beautiful life together. Congratulations again, Carson and Bryce! I loved being a part of your gorgeous wedding day!!
