Downtown Charleston Engagement Session along Rainbow Row

There are literally no words (well, exaggeration, because I’m typing words) I have for how much I adore this colorful downtown Charleston engagement session with Lily and Stephen! I met Lily in Charlotte when she first hired me for a photoshoot for her new boutique in South End, Shop Lil Belle (P.S. – She has a great website and amazing selections, so hop over there and shop once you’re done here!). We immediately hit it off and kept telling me “I’m calling you as soon as I get engaged!”… and well, Stephen popped the question! SO, guess what?! I got a text from Lily wanting to get on the books for their session! We decided a classic downtown Charleston engagement session was perfect for these two!

Downtown Charleston Engagement Portraits

Walking around with Lily and Stephen downtown was so much fun! They’re such a happy couple – so in love and thrilled to be together. Our session started through the historic district of downtown – definitely iconic Charleston! Afterwards, we headed to Hampton Park so we could also photograph them with the dreamy Spanish moss we all love!! Again, classic Charleston. Lily had the most fun white dress on for their portraits. It was bridal – but also super whimsical, just like Lily! It looked amazing against all of the classic Charleston spots we stopped along during our session. She and Stephen were natural models and made my job super easy – I know their wedding day is going to be equally fun and dreamy.

Congrats Lily and Stephen! I wish you guys the best in your marriage! I hope you enjoy looking back through your downtown Charleston engagement session – I know it’s one of my favorites!
