Prefacing this blog post by saying it may be my all-time favorite. EVER. !!!

When I was in 11th grade, I went to a medical camp at UNC Chapel Hill for 10 days. It was part of the National Youth Leadership Forum and I honestly did not know what to expect. Contrary to my preconceived notions, my time there was so incredible! Those 10 days are still some of my BEST memories and I still keep up with almost everyone from that summer!

Camila and I were in the same group (#FreudForever) and became such great friends! (Because examining hearts and watching live knee replacements calls for great bonding experiences, right?!). Camila, her roommate Miranda, and my roommate Sarah are all still very good friends! So when Camila got ENGAGED and asked me to be their wedding photographer, I was so over the moon excited!

Camila and Julian are such troopers. It ended up pouring rain the night we had scheduled their engagement session. Since I had to travel to be with them in Atlanta, we settled on a sunrise session the next day, even though it was going to be 30 degrees and windy! Despite the wind and cold, Piedmont Park was the most beautiful backdrop for engagement photos and made this little city girl’s heart skip a beat!

After our session, we all headed to brunch at Buttermilk Kitchen (you MUST go if you’re in Atlanta) and shared friendships over pimento cheese and coffee 🙂 Camila and Julian, Chance and I had so much fun with you and getting to know you guys as a couple! I love how you love each other and it is so sweet to witness! I can’t believe we have to wait almost a year to do this again, but I can’t wait for the moment when we do!!
