Allie & Matt: Southern Sorella Farms Wedding

Matt walked his grandmother and his mom to their seats. Allie was inside of the farmhouse, her mom on one side, her dad on the other. They’d all been waiting for this day since Allie and Matt were in grade school. As Matt and his groomsmen walked down the aisle to take their place under the oak tree, everyone could feel the magnitude of what was about to happen. This is the day we’d all been waiting for. Matt and Allie were finally getting married!

As Matt watched Allie’s bridesmaids walk towards him, one by one, we could all see the emotion he was feeling. Each bridesmaid that greeted him at the altar meant he was one step closer to seeing his bride. As Allie walked out of the house and Matt caught his first glimpse of her, it was enough to make the hardest heart tear up. It was the look of pure, unfiltered, and unconditional love for his bride. Allie walked down the aisle to him as they both wiped tears from their eyes. It was so, so beautiful!

After the ceremony (that I may or may not have cried ALL the way through), they were pronounced husband and wife. Out of all of the weddings I’ve shot, I’ve never heard guests cheer so loud for them. It was well deserved 🙂 These two are patient and kind with each other. They show unwavering love in the face of difficult circumstances. Things that would shake other couples, like 4 years of long-distance, were only minor speed bumps for Allie and Matt. Because they knew, deep inside, that they were meant for each other. Nothing could keep them from their destiny.

Allie and Matt, it was truly one of my biggest honors to be a part of your wedding day. I love you both and I am SO excited for the life that you two are going to build together! The character that you both possess is one in a million and I am so blessed to count you as friends! CONGRATULATIONS, and I wish you both nothing but the absolute best! Cheers, to the new Mr. and Mrs. Blanks!!
