I am so excited to be sharing Kaitlin, Ryan, and Baby Reece’s Charlotte newborn portraits with you today! I met Kaitlin through Instagram, though she’s actually a meteorologist with WCCB and basically I think that’s the coolest thing ever. When she asked me about photographing her son’s lifestyle newborn portraits, I was SO pumped! I had the best time with her and her little family at their beautiful new home!

Kaitlin and Ryan may be new at this whole parenting thing, but they’re seriously winning at it! I loved watching them gush over Baby Reece, all while still loving on their pups. It was so sweet to watch! Baby Reece is a pretty easy going baby, and he made my job super easy. We spent most of his session in his nursery – just wait until you see how beautiful it is! I was obsessed with the light and neutral decor they chose. About halfway through, both Reece and his mama did an outfit change. We moved out into their living room – and even on their front porch – for the rest of the session. It was a great change of pace! A lot of babies get outfit changes during our sessions, but not all parents, so I’m super glad Kaitlin decided to. She looked stunning in the blue dress she chose!
