Congratulations to my dear friend, Kristina and her family! They welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Blair, to their family this year and I was honored to capture their lifestyle newborn session in Charlotte, NC this year to celebrate. I met Kristina and her family through Instagram and in 2020, they did a family mini session with me. So, to say I was excited to have a full session with them when their baby girl arrived was an understatement! Kristina owns a lifestyle blog here in Charlotte called Medicine and Manicures and honestly, the best sense of style. Her whole house was stunning and truly made my job easy.

Blair’s nursery was just absolutely beautiful! Their entire home was filled with lots of natural light, which is ideal for newborn sessions. Blair loved snuggling up with her parents in her nursery and their room, content to just lay in their arms. Her big brother, Porter, was very excited about his new baby sister. He loved showing me where she was, jumping around and giving her lots of kisses. I absolutely loved his joy over this sweet little girl. I know they’re going to have a wonderful bond as they grow up!
One of the best parts of lifestyle sessions is just how relaxed everyone is. The entire time I was with Blair and her family, everyone was so happy together – enjoying their time together as a family and cooing over their new member. It was so sweet to watch them all snuggle up to her. She is obviously very loved and I hope that these portraits are something they’ll treasure for years to come, as they look back on the early days of becoming a family of four. Congratulations again! Blair is just perfect and I can’t wait to watch her grow up.
