Naples, Florida, with its breathtaking sunsets and coastal charm, set the stage for a truly unforgettable wedding weekend. I’m unsure if I can adequately put my love for these two and their families into words, but we’re going for it!
I’ll never forget my initial meeting with Megan and her mom over Zoom. Megan told her planner that she didn’t care where her photographer was located, but that she and her family wanted “someone fun,” and thankfully she knew exactly where to send them 🙂
Coastal Wedding in Naples FL
Megan and Brian met, became friends, and eventually fell in love at Kansas University. With Brian from Nebraska and Megan from Minnesota, a Florida wedding was the OBVIOUS choice, right?! 😉 These two chose Naples for their wedding as it’s such a special place for Megan and her family. They grew up spending many Christmases in their home there and is full of so many fond memories that she naturally wanted the memory of her wedding there, too.
The festivities began with a rehearsal dinner at the Edgewater Hotel, a timeless beachfront venue known for its ambiance and ocean views. The evening was filled with heartfelt toasts, so much laughter, and the most beautiful sunset over the Gulf of Mexico.
On the morning of the wedding, the bride and her bridal party prepared for the day at her family’s beautiful home in Naples. Megan was able to step into her gown with her mom and sister by her side AND share a first look with her dad and soon-to-be husband, all in the same place she celebrated Christmas with her family growing up. The heartfelt sentiment in those moments are not lost on me.
Megan and Brian exchanged vows overlooking the water and had the party of the century at Grey Oaks Country Club. It was truly the perfect Florida day with an incredible sunset to top it all off!
These two truly have hearts of gold. Separately they are amazing, but together they are absolute magic! I count myself so lucky to have been present for this weekend, met their friends and family, and captured their love story. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness to you two! I adore you both!
