Julie and Dhruv’s engagement session at The Duke Mansion was a favorite to date! Love stories truly have a way of weaving magic into our lives. With these two, the enchantment was palpable. I loved watching the magic of their love story to life in the incredible gardens of one of my favorite venues: Duke Mansion.
Their story began in the city of love at a charming little spot, Café Charlot, when their paths crossed. (And to answer the question I know you’re thinking, the irony is absolutely not lost on me that they are now getting married in Charlotte). Amid the clinking of coffee cups and the buzz of Paris, their eyes met, and a conversation sparked that would lead them on a journey across continents. Have you ever heard of a better meet cute?!

Fast forward to their engagement session, and the Duke Mansion provided the perfect backdrop for their session. The mansion’s grand architecture and lush, manicured gardens complemented their elegant style and genuine connection. The historic charm of the mansion, with its timeless beauty, seemed to echo their own story—a modern fairy tale with roots in one of the world’s most romantic cities.
I feel incredibly honored to have been a small part of their journey. Truly, I cannot wait to capture their day this summer! Cheers to a lifetime of love and adventure for Julie and Dhruv! The fun is just beginning 🙂
