There’s something incredibly sacred about being invited into a family’s home during those first few weeks of parenthood — when everything is new, tender, and full of awe. As a Charlotte newborn photographer, it’s one of the greatest honors to document these quiet, powerful moments. And Baby Warren’s beautiful in-home newborn session was nothing short of special!

A Full-Circle Kind of Session

This sweet family came to me through a referral from another newborn session I photographed last year, and I’ll never stop feeling thankful for the way my clients connect me to other incredible families. (You can see that session here!) From the moment I walked into their home, I felt the warmth, thoughtfulness, and love that surrounded baby Warren.

A Dreamy Nursery & Thoughtful Details

They had the most beautifully designed nursery. It was so calm, elevated, and welcoming! The standout detail? A stunning faux grasscloth wallpaper from Society Social that added texture and style in the most effortless way. Every element, from the cozy rocker to the soft neutral palette, felt intentional and full of heart.

And Warren? He was a dream baby  with a few outfit changes that were just too cute for words!

First-Time Parents

Watching these two with their son was one of those moments that reminds me why I do this. The gentleness. The awe. The way they looked at him and at each other. They’re already such steady, loving parents, and it was beautiful to witness.

Being part of a family’s story at this chapter, right at the beginning, is a privilege I’ll never take for granted. These are the days that pass by in a blink, but hold so much beauty. The kind of beauty that deserves to be remembered, forever.
