I adore Amelia and Erik. They are one of those couples that are just magnetic and you can’t help but love them. I met Amelia through the Charlotte Ballet when I had the idea to do a ballet editorial at Duke Mansion. After our meeting, truly, the rest was history! We became friends quickly. She and Erik actually got engaged the night before our editorial -how fun! Later, she asked me to be her wedding photographer. I was OVER the moon! Now after having to postpone almost 2 years, their wedding day finally came and it was absolutely perfect. Amelia and Erik tied the knot in a chic Foundation for the Carolinas wedding that still makes my heart overflow.
Foundation for the Carolinas Wedding
From the start, I knew Amelia and Erik’s wedding was going to be modern and super chic… and they did not disappoint. With gold and emerald details, their wedding day sprung to life at the Foundations for the Carolinas. Amelia and Erik chose to have a first look before their ceremony on one of the balconies, as well as a letter reading. It was so emotional and super sweet. I feel lucky to have been a part of it! Their ceremony took place against a wall of glass, overlooking the Charlotte skyline – absolutely stunning.
After their sweet ceremony, Amelia and Erik met their guests for their modern reception with gold and ivory touches. Amelia changed into a second – beautiful – gown. She looked incredible in the ivory and gold dress as they enjoyed their celebrations and guests.
Congratulations again Amelia and Erik! Your Foundation for the Carolinas wedding is one I will never forget – and I’m so happy I could be there with you both. I wish you a lifetime of happiness together!!
