Duke Mansion Engagement Session || Emily + Porter

I just ADORE Emily and Porter! As soon as I met with them over Zoom, we all just clicked and I couldn’t wait to work with them! Emily and Porter are so bubbly and fun, it’s impossible not to meet them and become fast friends. They chose to have a Duke Mansion engagement session and it was absolutely beautiful. The gardens were in bloom and we had a great time exploring together for their portraits!

Duke Mansion Engagement Session

Emily chose two stunning outfits for their portraits. Both dresses were bright and colorful against the greenery around the Mansion. I’m all about a good pop of color! They both had little textural details that were fun to photograph, too. I really do believe that the outfits you pick inspire so much of your final portraits. And she looked beautiful in both, too (obviously!).

As we started to talk more, I learned that she and I are opposites in a lot of ways. She loves cats and Taylor Swift, and I love dogs and Kayne West (LOL) but we’re clearly proof that opposites can, in fact, attract! Seriously, one of the best parts of my job is being able to really chat with and get to know my couples. Emily and Porter were no exception!

Emily and Porter, I can’t wait for your wedding in October at Carmel Country Club. Not only do I get to see you two beautiful people, but I get to work with some of my favorite vendor friends! It will definitely be a wonderful day!!
