Every once in a while, a branding session comes along that feels like pure magic from start to finish, and Kacie’s bright & fun branding session for her brand Shopping in Sequins was exactly that! She flew all the way from Denver, Colorado to work with me here in Charlotte. The fact that she found me through Pinterest makes this story even sweeter! She told me that when she saw my work, she thought, “This is the only girl who can do the job.” Talk about the best compliment!!

Kacie is an online influencer and online shopper with a thriving Facebook group, email list, and community who look to her for the best shopping deals. She’s been running her deal group since 2020 and was even invited to the Amazon Creator Summit last year, a HUGE milestone for her brand! Although she humbly says, “I don’t even consider myself an influencer, I’m just a shopper who loves to share,” it’s clear that her reach and impact speak for themselves.
Recently, Kacie rebranded to Shopping in Sequins, embracing a name that reflects her fun, energetic personality. To celebrate this big step, she wanted a branding session that would capture the heart of her brand: bright, girly, exciting, and above all, authentic!
Creating Click-Worthy Content
From the start, we knew this wasn’t going to be your typical branding session. We rented a studio space in Charlotte and filled it with personality. Sequins, sparkly outfits, and plenty of props made the the session unique to her. We even incorporated Amazon Prime boxes as a nod to her love of sharing new deals on that platform!
Together, we brainstormed content that would not only showcase her personality, but also stop the scroll on Pinterest and social platforms. The result? Fun, click-worthy imagery that her audience would instantly connect with. Every frame felt playful and eye-catching, perfectly balancing the heart of who she is with the vibrant energy of her brand.
What stood out most was how much this shoot marked a turning point for Kacie. She shared that it was a big step for her to put her face out there more. To show up as the person behind the brand. It wasn’t just about pretty photos. It was about leaning fully into her role as a content creator and embracing the influencer side of her business.
And honestly? I felt so honored to be part of that journey. From the sequins to the laughter, every moment felt like a celebration. Not just of her business, but of her courage to dream bigger!
