A Summer Wedding at The Bradford in New Hill, NC

Julie and Connor’s summer wedding at the Bradford was truly the perfect day! Even though their wedding was technically in September, the heat in the Carolinas is still easily a summer situation 😉 The Bradford is a perfect spot for a wedding day if you’re looking for a taste of a European estate just outside of Raleigh in North Carolina.

Julie and Connor met in May of 2018 through mutual friends and a hometown connection. They quickly hit it off and spent the next four years together, making lifelong memories with weekend trips to the beach and lake, football games at App State, and through travels like a week spent in Hawaii. All of these 4 years weaving together the start of their love story.

In December of 2021, Connor and Julie flew to New York City to celebrate New Years Eve. Connor surprised Julie with an engagement in front of the Brooklyn Bridge surrounded by their closest friends! Now, fast forward to September of 2023 🙂

As the morning began with Julie and her bridesmaids getting ready, Connor and his groomsmen were getting last minute touch-ups from a barber that came on-site, something I loved! These two shared first looks with their mom (Connor) and dad (Julie), and then with each other. With a warm, sunny breeze and bright florals surrounding them, Julie walked down the aisle as Connor cried to share their love with their closest friends and family.

These two have an ease with each other that is so sweet to witness. Their love seems easy and effortless and it brightens all those who get to experience it. Connor and Julie, thank you so much for letting me be part of your day! What a special celebration it was!
