Charlotte In-Home Newborn Session for Baby Boy

One of my favorite privileges ever is being invited into my client’s homes to photograph their precious new babies! It’s one of those “pinch me” feelings that I have the honor of documenting this ridiculously sweet season of life for them. This Charlotte in-home newborn session was so special!

Capturing a newborn session is a uniquely special experience that goes beyond the realm of photographing a family. Stepping into the homes of clients right after they’ve welcomed a new life into the world allows for an intimate glimpse into these small, but profound moments. I get to capture the joy and tenderness that characterize the early days of parenthood. The atmosphere is charged with a palpable sense of love and vulnerability. The authenticity of the emotions, the delicate details of a nursery, and the quiet interactions between parents and their newborn all contribute to this sweet time we get to spend together!

This precious angel was so snuggly and showed us his beautiful baby blues during his session! Mom planned neutral and blue hues for baby boy and the family and I loved how it turned out! He even gave us a few smiles, too! His little sister (and cutest pup ever) even showed off for a few photos, too!
