CANDICE AND JAY – what a weekend we had with these two, their family, and friends in the early spring at Lowndes Grove!
Candice and Jay met on an airplane on their way to Vegas and have truly been inseparable since. Jay was able to lure her away from her home in Charleston to come live in the country in North Carolina. As an ode to her hometown, Candice knew that she had to get married in Charleston. She brought only one request to the table for Katrina of Katrina Hutchins Events: “I want Bridgerton.” From there, she let Katrina and the other vendors run with the design and the result was truly magical. Katrina was the only one she trusted to design her wedding and that trust paid off. Their wedding was inspired by the show Bridgerton with its pastel extravagance. The wedding design channeled the intricate beauty of old-world with the excitement of the modern era.
Featuring a form-fitting, show-stopping Galia Lahav gown on our girl, Candice, lush florals by Gathering Events, and custom-matched, hand painted chandeliers with the oceanside backdrop of Charleston, Candice and Jay’s wedding made for an unforgettable weekend. Truly, it was such a party and celebration of love that was so fun to witness!! Congratulations again, Candice and Jay!
