This Charleston engagement session with Holly & Patrick was truly an “east coast meets west coast” vibe! As current residents of California, this adorable couple decided on Charleston, SC for their engagement session location! Their wedding will also take place in Charleston next April at Lowndes Grove, which is one of the city’s most stunning venues!
Charming Charleston Engagement Session
Because they live in California, Holly & Patrick really wanted to highlight all of the southern character and charm here! So downtown was a must with all its fun pastel buildings and charming alleyways. For that same reason, we opted for no water scenes, because they have that all the time on the West Coast! Of course, one of Charleston’s charming, albeit dangerous, features is the cobblestone streets – which Holly mastered like a champ in those heels. So A+ for that!!
I had so much fun chatting with tHolly ahead of time, helping her pick out her dress and consulting on a few different “looks.” She used Ash and Co. Bridal for her beauty, which was flawless. No surprise there either because Ash is one of my all-time favorites and so great to work with!
Holly and Pat were truly such a great time. We genuinely laughed the whole way through and got some stunning photos throughout downtown. I am SO pumped for their wedding next spring, because I know it’ll be a blast. And they’re working with the talented Pure Luxe Bride, so you know the design and details will be nothing short of spectacular. I’m officially counting down the days!
