Lara and Ethan had such stunning engagement session at the Duke Mansion in Charlotte, North Carolina, which is always a favorite for me! They are what some would consider the “modern” couple, as they met on Bumble, but it very quickly turned serious. It was obvious from our first minute together how in love they truly are! They giggled their way through the session which I loved. Their energy was tangible and you could tell that they really adore each other. These two definitely made my job easy!!
Duke Mansion Engagement Session
Lara wore a beautiful white dress that was absolutely giving bridal. The simple yet fashion-forward design suited her style and paired perfectly with her classic emerald cut ring. The Duke Mansion offered a wonderful backdrop, per usual!
I can’t wait to photograph their intimate wedding at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden in November! Initially, they had their hearts set on a courthouse elopement. Lara’s parents got married at a courthouse as well and they loved the sentiment of it! But once they realized the courthouse wasn’t open on the weekends, they opted for a smaller wedding of 10 guests at Daniel Stowe so they could celebrate on a Sunday with family. It will be ALL the garden vibes for this sweet couple – and I’m truly counting down the days!
